Clutch Control Valve Bore Sizing Tool

Failed solenoid retainers in listed Allison, GM and Ford 10-speed transmissions can cause the heavy solenoids to wobble in the bore causing damage and hang up of the various clutch control valves.

To ensure proper valve function after rebuild, Sonnax offers bore sizing tool 105740-BST to smooth and deburr clutch control valve bores and ensure proper clearance.

Warning: Care must be taken when removing the valve to avoid damage. Sonnax recommends using a hand deburring tool such as NOGA SC8000 (available at MSC as part number 05752647) or similar to deburr the bore before removing the valve.
