Harsh TCC engagement complaints can occur due to breakage of the TCC accumulator spring in the pump assembly in Chrysler 45/545/65/66 and ’18-earlier 68RFE units. The OE spring material and design is overstressed in this application. Sonnax TCC accumulator spring 44912-01 is manufactured from an upgraded material to increase spring strength and resiliency.
