Fits ’18-earlier only in 68RFE.
Excess wear at the accumulator bore or on the critical diameter of the accumulator valve is common in Chrysler 45/545/65/66 and ’18-earlier 68RFE transmissions. Wear at this bore allows oil to exhaust, resulting in converter and lockup concerns. Installing Sonnax drop-in TCC accumulator valve kit 44912-18K eliminates leaks to restore normal operation.

Wear around the accumulator valve allows critical fluid to leak past and directly to exhaust/sump.Correction:
Eliminate converter and lockup concerns by installing Sonnax drop-in TCC accumulator valve kit that uses an O-ring to eliminate leakage in a worn bore.Warning:
The edge of the bore should be chamfered to ease installation and avoid tearing the O-ring.
