The Coan Racing COA‑11126 Extreme Performance 28″ Transmission with Pro Tree Billet Brake is a robust, race-engineered Powerglide built for high-performance applications. The assembly features a reinforced steel hub paired with a “Super Shaft,” designed to withstand the demands of aggressive launches and sustained heavy loads. At its core is Coan’s “Maximum Duty” 1.69 planetary gearset housed in an aluminum carrier, ensuring sharp, efficient power transfer under hard acceleration.

A billet brake valve body delivers race-ready control, enabling lightning-fast launches. The drivetrain is strengthened with a billet output shaft and a nine-clutch “Super Drum,” all enclosed in a cast deep-aluminum pan to improve fluid capacity and thermal management. Built as a 28-inch plug-and-play system, the COA‑11126 installs directly into standard Powerglide setups, offering durability and reliability right out of the box.
