This replacement housing for the aluminum Powerglide OEM, ATI SuperCase or Dedenbear transmission case will retro fit to any Powerglide with a standard shorty extension without having to perform any machining or modification to the drive shaft yoke. To enhance the performance of the Shorty Extension Housing, it can be used in conjunction with the installed optional case bearing (part #983040).
